Done in 2018
As 2017 has been the year during which we realised the first part of the project “A school in Sri Lanka”, we would like that 2018 could be the year for realising the second part: the school building. It is with great hope that it will be completed by the end of this year and move to the new location for the start of the 2019 school year. We are off to a great start, as the architect has completed the school building plan and then during my winter annual visit, we will dedicate our energy to attain the building permit.
To start renting Butterfly Villa, we are building its website, enrolling it on the main home rental websites and connecting all them.
In January we have had among us a Canadian English mother tongue teacher who has dedicate to our school a month of her Anno Sabbatico. After having visited our small school she decided to teach for us by donating her experience.
Nothing to say, she is a real tsunami! So bright she infected children and teachers with her enthusiasm.
Brava Corrina! It will not be easy to carry on without you, we wish you stay with us forever.
During the current year we will accomplish the change of address for the company, from the rented place one to by Butterfly Villa as the permanent one.
